It's probably much-of-a-muchness. In the user-startup, the whole
startup-sequence is halted until they are all up and running, whereas the
WBStartup won't be run until the workbench is already loading/loaded. It
still executes them one at a time though, and I think it locks you out
during that time so you can't use Workbench anyway. I haven't noticed
because my desktop doesn't fade in until it's completely finished loading...
