Yes, no problem.

The burner must support it though. My Yamaha 8824 states on the box/manual
that it specifically supports 80 minute discs. Check your manual.
Even if the writer doesn't support them, they can be used as 74m discs without
problem.

Some audio CD players may have trouble playing them, but I haven't encountered
this yet.
