You can use NSDPatch' MAPTODEVICE/MAPTOUNIT functionality to map cd.device
to the device driver you're using, if autoboot isn't essential.
For instance, I can play Pinball Illusions CD�� here off my NEC SCSI2 drive
using z3scsi.device in this A4K.
You might need OS3.1+ for this to work, through. I'm using OS3.9 here with
this line:
DEVICE cd.device DEVICETYPE NSDEVTYPE_TRACKDISK COMMANDS
1-15,18-23,32-46 KICKSTARTROMONLY MAPTODEVICE z3scsi.device MAPTOUNIT 3
