You are creating separate tracks, with each one a separate volume. you
need to link the tracks.

Create the first track with the first batch of pics, and fix the session.
When you want to add more, create another track, set the source to "File
system" in the Track Options window and open the "ISO image prefs"
window as you are currently doing.

Before you select the new batch of pics to add, click the Add button and
set the cycle gadget to "CD-R track". Now you can add the previous track
to the new one. Then click Add again and add the drawer containing your
pics.

By adding the previous track to the new one, you create links form the
TOC of the new track to the contents of the old one.

Which would be quite helpful, if it told you which instructions to read.
The details are all in the MakeCD docs, but finding them can take a
while. I suspect the author of SearchGuide[*] was a MakeCD user :-O
