Remember that JPEG files are lossey so quality can be compromised.
The only problem with IFF is that it is an Amiga standard, rather
than a PC one, so check that your mates PC application supports IFF
file types.
If you need to have a small filesize, JPEG is the way to go. If you
can handle the extra time to send (and for your pal to receive), then
IFF, TIFF, or BMP are the way to go.
Yam shouldn't care what type of file it is, since any attachment is
just a file to it.
