Not really. You can pick up an A1200 m/b for peanuts these days!

I doubt it ... why would you need it anyway? You could have a 256Mb
DIMM plugged into the AO instead!

Yes. This is, of course, presuming you actually want to connect your
A1200 to the AmigaOne. Think of it as a new PC or Mac, but one which
comes with a special slot that allows you to add an A1200 for 100%
hardware Amiga emulation ...
