if WINDOWED is enabled then imagefx4 should put up a screen mode requester
when you start it (if you don't have a .prefs file that defines a preview
module like Amiga or Windowed)
(if you do have a default.prefs file delete it)
select a screenmode, go to the prefs panel select preview select
windowedcgx. (you might get a request for a new screenmode) save the prefs,
quit imagefx and then restart it.
