Subject: | SFS v1.84 - What does it actually work with? |
Hi Folks,
Yet again I am attempting to install SFS v1.84 on a 4000 with AmigaOS
3.9. I have installed the filesystem properly with HDToolBox.
I am still unable to get it working with any device of my 4000. SCSI on
my CSPPC on csppc.device, IDE via scsi.device (IDEFix supported), and IDE
via my XSurf ethernet. No matter the device I recieve the error:
>SFS/sfsformat drive <DEVICE:> name Whatever
Press RETURN to begin formatting or CTRL-C to abort:
error while initializing the drive: packet request time unknown
I am running SetPatch v44.16, no dodgey patches (well, maybe XSurfIDE =)) I
have not commented any devices out of NSDPatch; no drive is over 4G. I'm
stumped.
