Yeah parallel cables like that have a length limit due to byte
skewing. It's the same for IDE, SCSI etc.

Well, if you /need/ longer you have two options:

1. Use ProNET with a serial cable, although this'll be slower

2. A proper network (using UTP or even co-axial). Thats only if the
amigas involved can have the right hardware
