| Subject: | A4000 boot problems |
Hi
A friend of mine just installed an X-Surf card in his A4000 to use with a
cable modem. It worked for a few days, but now he's having serious
problems.
Basically, the A4000 won't boot with anything attached to the internal,
Buddha or X-Surf IDE, although it was working fine a few days before.
Without the HD connected, it will boot (and show the Insert Floppy screen
etc.), but obviously it's useless without the HD.
He's tried removing all his Zorro cards etc. from the A4K, but to no avail.
He has a rev B motherboard, Picasso and Catweasel with latest flash updates,
but I'm not sure about the rest of his setup. If you need any more information,
just ask and I can phone him.
