Hiya all,
Just been wondering what could be causing my Apollo060 to have so many
problems with some 3D games (Quake and Nightlong esp) and the only thing
that I can finally think of is the timing problems between the various
A1200 motherboard revisions.
All the A1200 that I have owned have been revision 2B and so far I dont
think I have had any problems with them. I have had various things hanging
off them (previous a AteoBus) and now have the Mediator/Voodoo combo.
Could the Motherboard revision effect the 3D in those two mentioned games
and cause various programs to constantly crash? (ispell and the golded
webworld spring to mind)
finally, which is the stable A1200 board? I may buy a 'new' one from Eyetech
anyway when I have the spare cash and keep this as a backup.
Any help appreciated :-)
