1) whats an extra 1 second of boot-time comapared to things being fixed?
2) they wouldnt have been worked on by H&P and updated if they werent
needed :-|

...well, that discounts ANY Amiga ever produced. are you talking about a
Spectrum with its built in Basic ROM?
