I had this problem a while back, and so rang HiSoft. They were very
friendly, and did know about the offer, even years later, but said they only
had the same number of serial numbers as there were CDs produced, and they
were all gone. Which really P***ed me off, cos I own the original CD and
magazine, yet couldn't use the software because of people registering
multiple times. I really don't think it constitutes piracy therefore, if I
find the serial number on the CU mailing archives and use it.
