I tend to think the version of C4D given away was far too usable, and
practically nobody upgraded to the full commercial version. Hisoft didn't like
it and so stopped giving out numbers.

Everyone I know who has C4D is using the same serial number anyway... so, god
knows what HiSoft are on about.

BTW, I did notice Epic were selling 'X-CAD 2000 SE' or some such.. and it was
just a duplicate of CUCD4... now, tell me I'm wrong, but I thought that you were
only allowed to sell the CD if you were selling the magazine it was attached to
as well?
