You are not the only one to have problems with an upgrade install -
that's what I could read from the net. So I installed my CGX4 on a RTG stuff
clean partition and added the 4.2p7 patch also - the first one I
downloaded didn't work, but the second did. As 4.2p8 has mainly MorphOS
upgrades, I don't have it so far. I had no bigger problems - except to
configure the settings for CVPPC and CV3D and PIV for simultaneous
existence in my A4k.
