Which amiga system? Most have presumed it is a A4k, but I suppose you could
have a Towered A1200? If so there are a couple of options for GFX cards.
One is the Mediator (from Power or Blittersoft in the UK) and a (getting
difficult to find now) Voodoo3 (or 4 or 5) card. I and 'a few' others have
got one and once it is setup and running well it is blinding :-)
and then there is the ZIV board available from Eyetech and Power. This uses
Zorro graphics cards that the amiga uses.
Of the two, personally (maybe a little biased.. ;-) ) I would go for the
Mediator (even with the huge lack of other GFX card drivers) Mainly beacuse
the GFX cards are PCI based and you can also buy other Cheap PCI cards and
use them. (assuming you have a amiga driver) eg. PCI ethernet card = about
11quid - last time I looked at amiga one it was 55quid for the PCMCIA card
and 90quid for the XSurf Zorro card.
Hope thats of some use if you have a A1200
Cheerio
