Hi All
Ive just been given an old 1500. It has an Octogen Hard Card Probaly
20-60meg HD and some kind of memory card. It doesnt boot up, It shows
a Green Screen at power up and then goes yellow then red and finaly
black with red stripes scrolling!
Although there is Power going to the floppy disks, they appear to be
dead.
Apparently it hasnt been powered up for a number of years.
Can any of you help by telling me what the screen colours mean and
if the custom chips are damaged can I replace some of them from an
A500 which I have in the loft.
Also.
Would it be possible to access the hard drive from my Squirrel as
this seems to be working.
Ive always wanted A Big Box, It would be a shame if it was completely
dead....
