Subject:AACD18 Linux problem!

Hi group,

Sorry if this has been covered before but I've looked at the archive of
messages on YahooGroups
and can see plenty of linux problems, but not this one so far...

Everybody with an AACD Debian problem seems to at least be able to run the
Linux bootloader, but
my problem is that neither my old NEC 2x SCSI CD-ROM drive or my much newer
Plextor 40x SCSI CD-ROM
drive can actually see the AACD/Magazine/Linux directory. As far as
file-systems go I've tried CacheCDFS from
OS3.5/3.9 and I've tried AmiCDFS v2.40 with both drives and the result is
the same. As far as my
Miggy is concerned that directory does not exist. My Win98 PC (spit), with a
40x IDE CD-ROM
is of the same opinion. Can anybody else not see the directory? Am I going
insane? I feel like I am,
especially as I just bought a 4Gb SCSI hard drive for Linux. :-/

If this is a problem that can't be solved without waiting for another AACD
then think I'll follow
other people's advice and just buy the Debian Amiga distrobution.

Thanks in advance for any help/advice,
