Sorry for asking an obviously controversial question?
Hisoft seemed quite happy to give me the numbers if they could have found
them, but never mind, all sorted now, I've got Imagine anyway.
My current problem is a poser, to me anyway.
When booting I occassionally get a corrupted CGXbootpic and workbench
screen, exept for the botton inch and half of the wb screen which is ok?
I have a PPC/040 & BVision running os3.5 with bb2 + CGX4 running in 1024x768
and it is normally very stable. If after the screen corrupts, I run eg.
PPaint, that
screen is ok, only to return to a corrupted wb. The problem happens
probably 1 in 10 times and is absolutely driving me mad. It always seems to
happen when showing a PC owning friend something interesting, this is very
embarrassing and leads to the inevitable, "why don't you get a proper
computer, snigger snigger" I have tinkered endlessly with the CGX settings
but to no avail.
Has anybody had a similar problem, or know what is going on. Any help would
be great.
