Glad to hear the problem isn't an isolated one, sorry for you though.
My screen used to totally corrupt with my old monitor running at 800x600,
but at 1024x768 that corruption stops before the bottom of the screen.(It
could be at line 600?)

My monitor is a Packard Bell A720 and my previous
monitor was a Microvitec1438 multiscan so I doubt it is the monitor at
fault.
Why should this fault only happen intermitantly though, I can go a few weeks
and everything is ok, then it evens the score and happens 6 times on the
trot. Doh!
We can't be the only people to have experienced this problem, hopefully one
of the "gurus" will have had this problem and solved the mistery.
