Photogenics and TVPaint are awesome paint programs; recommend checking
them out...
Definitely get "ModePro" if you have programs that insist on using
Amiga's built-in screenmodes. I use it on Studio 16...

In my personal experience, any software I've used that specifies "cgfx"
as a requirement works pretty well with P96. I've tried CGFX before but
found it to be a little unstable; never had a problem with P96,
although it doesn't support screen dragging...
