As a motorcycle courier I'm subject to the police force's crackdown on 'real
crimes' quite frequently!
Muggers, Rapists, Burglars and Murderers? Hell no! Let's stop this guy on a
bike, we're bound to find something wrong with it!
It's always "Do you know why I've stopped you?" Like they don't really know
and want me to furnish them with a valid reason! The obvious answer is
"Because you can't catch real criminals?" Needless to say I've never used
that answer although I've been stopped and told it was my lucky day when it
started raining!!!! Don't get me wrong, I love the police force, well all
those over twelve years old! They do such a difficult job, keeping the
correct time, directing tourists and pointing Halfords Ignition Strobe guns
at motorists for a laugh! And don't get me going on the "I don't just ride a
police motorcycle, I have my own bike too so I know what I'm talking about"
line!!!!
The British bobby is bloody highly trained in all skills and very dedicated.
I just hate to see all that potential wasted on stopping motorists just to
get the 'numbers up'!
