That was probably my message. I've used both SoundProbe 1 and
SoundProbe 2....I LOVE the features, but the problem is I can't use the
programs long enough to use them to their full potential. I use it
solely for sound processing and editing.

I can't even open the editor from the menu without a guru; I can open a
sound file itself as a project and use the editor THAT way, though.

I'm wondering if maybe DOpus Magellan 5.82 is interfering...??

I use:

Power Tower 4000 mk2 w/2MB chip RAM & 16MB fast RAM * Cyberstorm MKIII
060/50 w/128MB RAM * OS 3.9 [also tried with 3.5 and 3.1] * DOpus
Magellan 5.82 * Picasso IV running the latest Picasso 96 [SoundProbe
opens on a 24-bit TrueColor screen]

Your friend should install PFS 3. [Wait...maybe THAT'S causing my
problem???] That will get rid of the validation problems.

I've heard all kinds of horror stories about programs not liking MCP's
presence.

Heh...don't you just love how those Guru "numbers-to-English" programs
STILL don't tell you what the hell happened? :)

I know there's some kind of "generic" AHI recorder on Aminet. I used it
with ConciertoIV and it was horrible; clicks all the way through.
