I guess it's like on a PC......it works but you have to use jumper
settings and limit it to 30 or 40 GB(don't remember what it is).
.....But I'm not sure if AmigaOS can use so big harddrives,
or if you have to have 20 partitions.....? :)

I use both a 3,5" IDE HD and a IDE CD-ROM. I have a "split" on the
IDE-connector that has 2 standard(3,5") IDE cables out. One is going
to the 3,5" HD inside the A1200(which also gets the power from the
Amiga :) and one is coming out of the cover just beside the PCMCIA-
port to the CD-ROM. I have an extra powersupply for the CD-ROM.
Not the safest solution......but it works! :-)
