gullible spelling thing again) that 10% above rated speed is acceptable if
it's a good quality CPU! Anything above that and you're on your own! The
060's could, in theory, be pushed to 75Mhz but for the sake of reliability
are limited to 66Mhz.
Yes, I know there is a 75Mhz 060 but it's a stripped down version without
the FPU. Look at it this way. You could make a Ford Ka as fast as a Cosworth
Sierra by bolting on a supercharger but it wouldn't last long! How many new
engines would you buy before admitting that buying a Cosworth would have
been the cheaper option?
