Right, I know what you mean now. I was thinking of a puff-of-flame type
of explosion.
I've used that effect in Imagine on lettering for a video title, and it
is called Explode there. You get a panel of settings, with options such
as Distance, Angle, Triangle Scaling, Number of Triangle Rotations (Max
and Min), etc.
It must be similar in C4D.
