PAP/CHAP authentification failed means you havent got the right code in the
PAP/CHAP part of your internet access programme.its a case sensetive
password and case sensetive user name which need to be present for certain
internet providers(btinternet for example)i use MIAMI(look in the PPP
prefs)i had to phone btinternet and ask them for my PAP code three
times.each time they got the letter' l'wrong.first they said it was capital
'i'then they said it was a number one.once i got the right codes i had no
problems connecting.
hope thiis bit of info is helpfull.
cheers
