Hi , on the subject of Re: [amigactive] power computing, you said:

I concurr, all the stuff I've bought from Power (Mustek Scanner, SCSI bits to
connect said scanner to my CSMkIII, Power Tower MkII etc.) all arrived
quickly and without problem.

I've had "bad" dealings with Eyetech in the past, but I don't find it
constructive to go on a mailinglist yelling that they are "shit". Eyetech do
indeed have many satisfied customers (hence them being Amiga Company of the
Year in AUI). Unless a company persistantly fails to meet a reasonable level
or service, knee-jerk reactions like posting unkind remarks about them serve
no purpose. Surely a better idea would be to talk to the company themselves,
and then ASK on a mailinglist if other people have had similar difficulties
in order to judge if the company is really incompetant or if you were just
unlucky.

OTOH, one thing I do hate about ALL amiga resellers is the "next week"
syndrome though, which is quite common and is something that nearly everybody
has experience of.
