I found that a reboot fixed it once (I ran DiskValid and it came up with no errors)
As for the buffers, they are already at maximum, and yes I am using that partition for IB cache and YAM folders.
If I upgrade to PFS3 will I need to reformat my partitions or can I just "update file system"? I have plenty of spare empty partitions to copy files onto if I need to reformat, so I guess it doesn't really matter :)
One thing I will mention was that when I backup up Work2: onto Work3: (partitions on same drive) it took ages... Hard drive was thrashing for ages... It was alot quicker to copy from Work: (IDE drive) to Work3: (I thought I may as well back up *everything*)
Did I post that I seem to have fixed the problem now, with the physical relocation of the drive and fan blowing onto PCB side of it instead of across the top (label) side of it?
