I had noticed that people had problems with installing from AA17 but not
AA18
I thought it was supposed to be fixed in AA18.

hd3 should have been hdb it's my CDRom and hda2 is my root partition.

Also it couldn't find my modem on the serial port. I normally have it on a
silversurfer device but changed it back to the serial when it didn't find
silversurfer. Mind when I weighed up how long it would take to download the
ISO files I've ordered the six Debian CD's for £12.99 including postage.
Can't be bad for a new computer;-)
