Subject: | Finding Secondhand SCSI CD-Writer |
Hi,
I want a CD-R to fit to my machine (possibly replacing my slow 2x reader in
the process), I know very little about CD writing on the Amiga.
1. So SCSI-wise I need a drive that has a 50-pin SCSI2 interface (internal
bare drive) that is compatible with some amiga software for CD writing. I'd
like to pick one up secondhand can anyone tell me where would be a good
place to look and what drives are best to try to get?
2. What software should I get to burn CD's?
I have a towered amiga as follows:
A1200 + Blizzard A1260 + 1230SCSI Kit (IV) + 48Mb FAST Ram
AteoBus with Pixel64 and Fast Serial/Parallel cards.
Internal IDE Drive - 1.4Gb
Blizzard SCSI 0 - Seagate 520Mb
Blizzard SCSI 1 - Seagate 4.3Gb
Blizzard SCSI 2 - Compaq 2xCD-ROM
Thanks,
Kev
