First, you have to prove that it does.

The new third edition of "The Art of Digital Audio" by Watkinson has a
very good final chapter on sound quality. This guy knows what he is
talking about. (ISBN 0-240-51587-0)

There may be some material on Shure's web site about how pickup
cartridges work.

The weakest link in almost any system will be the loudspeakers and the
room. Another common weak link is the output circuits of a box such as
a CD deck, which has to drive the inputs to a power amp. In the case of
CDs, the weak link is the D to A converter in your deck. With vinyl it
is dirt on the stylus. (Also bass feedback, and resonances in the pickup
arm.)
