Don't use atapi.device - you don't have a licensed IDEfix (you don't actually
have a "licensed" CacheCDFS either to be honest) and that's what's causing
the nag requesters to appear.
Given that IDEfix is only £15, I'd recommend buying it if you want to use
it. Just because you have a tiny component bundled with the OS doesn't
mean you have the right to use the full commercial product it's from.
