| Don't use atapi.device - you don't have a licensed IDEfix (you don't
| actually have a "licensed" CacheCDFS either to be honest) and that's what's
| causing the nag requesters to appear.

I'll stick to scsi.device then. This has always been a source of
misunderstanding on the Amiga.

I buy lots of Amiga software. Although IDEFix seems like a nice package, I
will not pay £15 for it. It's far too unstable. Let's say I mount a drive on
boot, and that drive don't exist it corrupts the CVision gfx-output.

If a light version of IDEFix is included in OS3.9 i'll stick with that.
IDEFix does not seem to have been upgraded in a long time, and my £15 are
better spent on developers actively supporting Amiga.

However, using IDE-devices is just a temporary solution to install Debian
from the AA18CD. (Which by the way still didn't work...*sigh*). It would be
much simpler if APUS supported the onboard SCSI controller on CSPPC.

The solution was to download the three ISOs and install Debian via NFS from a
PC nearby ;) Works great.

Btw; thanks for the help.
