Download the latest 2.2.10 kernel and boothack from linux-apus homepage
Also download the apus-lp-ramdisk.image20000622.gz LinuxPPC 2000
installer image. Don't use the 2.4.1 kernel found on the page. At least
here I get a kernel panic.
This boothack line worked for me:
bootstrap --apus -k kernel_file_name -r apus-lp-ramdisk.image20000622.gz
root=/dev/ram video=pm2fb:mode:800x600-60 ide=doubler 60nsram nobats
If you don't have Permedia2 use video=amifb instead. Also remove ide=doubler
if needed.
