Be very afraid ;-)
Nah, they're quite harmless really, it just looks a little off-putting. The
first thing I did was alter the 'open-new' icon on the toolbar to open a new
doc on a fresh "sheet".
Having said that, I had a quick look at the Details tab for the html
syntaxing, where I think you can define your own, and decided maybe not...
not yet anyhows ;-)

Oh, I don't know. I went to the website but I could not login with my
serial number, problems with the server or somewthing. That's a point,
there was a sticker inside the CD case saying serial number, but I was also
given a serial number (totally different) in the installation process. I
know the one from installation is the one required to log into the members
area, but what's the other one for?
