Hello Chaps,
Last night at a HAUG meeting I was installing a clean system on a vanilla
1200HD. No Opus of any description, just WB 3.1.
Anyway, I got a CD drive working with it and on the CD was a mirror copy of
the alt.woa website. One of our members asked how large the site was.
Now under Opus I'd just do a getsizes command. In amigados however I was
stumped. I was playing around with the List and Dir commands for ages with
no joy.
I wrote a small arexx script that will do exactly what I want, but surely
you can find out the size of a directory tree via the command line without
resorting to scripting.
I awiat my shooting down in flames with trepidation.
