Ok - forget everything else I have said on the matter. :-)
Hopefully this will put an end to all the hassles everyone has been having with
SimCity2000.
I fired up Dopus and had a look in my SimCity dir and saw some spatch files,
which reminded me that Aminet was a place of good things.
So, go here.

This is what some of the Read.me thats in the archive says:
"This patch fixes several bugs in the Amiga version of SC2K. To
apply, make a backup of your file SimCity2000, then execute the
SimPatch script in the directory containing SimCity2000. The
file will be overwritten with the new patched version."
So, when in doubt, always check Aminet.
