Nonononono...re-read that:
1) The PowerPC died in January. Only two months has gone by. Actually
-- maybe only a day or two past two months. :) Ergo, I couldn't have
gotten it back after three months yet. :)

2) I was TOLD that it "only" takes three months normally when going
through an Amiga dealer and having that dealer send the board to DCE
rather than the user sending it directly to DCE. The "only" is MY part,
btw -- the tech said that it takes a really long time, and that really
long time is normally three months.

3) I had Software Hut send it to DCE. Why not? I was actually AT
Software Hut when the problem was diagnosed. As much as I hate
Pennsylvania, I wanna go back to Software Hut! :) Their facility is an
Amiga-lover's paradise! The actual store front is just your normal old
small computer dealer shop with some magazines [Amiga magazines, that
is], some used Amiga 4000s scattered on the floor, a desk and a few
offices...but in the back they have a HUGE room, about the size of a
small warehouse, chock full of just about every Amiga product ever sold
-- some were there for repairs, some for tower modification, and others
just plain there...the only Amiga I didn't see there was the Amiga
1000. [Yup -- saw all the other models, including the CDTV and
CD32....] crates full of 68060 chips, enough driver disks to tile the
Taj Mahal....

Sorry to go on that rant! :)

> :-) What do you recommend me then??? (Send to soft hut first??)

Well, whoever your regular Amiga dealer is; whomever you got the board
from. [If you're in Europe, it certainly wouldn't make sense to send it
to the Software Hut here in the US first just to have it sent back to
Germany. :) ] And that's not MY recommendation, but Chris at Software
Hut...he told me it's always best to send bad units to the dealer you
bought it from if you want DCE to return it to you sooner.
