Believe me, totally understood. When Chris diagnosed my problem I asked
him if there was something they could supply me in its place, and he
offered me the MKIII 060, which I accepted. He gave me the option of
using this one until my PPC gets back and get the money refunded when I
return it, or just keep this one and scrap the PPC and get the
difference in price refunded. At first I thought "Ya know, I really
don't need PPC power. Most of what I do runs well on the 060."
Well...soon found out how WRONG I was after I started to decode some
MP3s. :) Also, can't play MAME at full speed now. :(

Probably Software Hut would be my guess. BTW -- did it ever have a
warranty?? I got my PPC in October or November, and when I was at
Software Hut Chris told me mine was still under warranty, so the repair
would be free....
