| Subject: | SOLVED - MASPlayer, AmigaAmp and lower bit rates. |
Hello,
A week ago I asked if anyone knew why both AmigaAmp and AMPlifier didn't
play MP3s streamed off the internet. Since then I have found out that both
AmigaAmp and AMPlifier didn't play MP3s under 112kbps.
This has now been solved thanks to 'Dirk' who runs the
http://home.snafu.de/dcr MASPlayer web-site. On his site under 'software'
there is a file to download (CLI_Commands.lha) that contains a file called
MAS-init. Run this before you run AmigaAmp or Amplifier and it will play
these lower quality files :^)))
HOWEVER, I still haven't found out how to get 'Streamer' running with
AmigaAmp as it still chucks an error at me and doesn't work. I'll let you
know if Wenzel (AmigaAmp) finds out what's going wrong.
