Sorry Mark, but I doubt he would have "absolutely guaranteed" you. I expect
Tony from PowerC knows about the various factors that decide how fast an
IDE interface operates. He might have told you that you could expect a
speed increase.
But then again, I've not had experience with PowerC. Although in the ratio
of good:bad things I've heard about them, the good far outweighs the bad!
