There is a Maplin in Bristol as well, but more importantly, try
http://www.maplin.co.uk They do next day delivery, which I think is free if
you spend over a certain amount. The internal 50-pin connectors are called
2x25 Dil IDC sockets, product code FA40. The crimping tool to attach them to a
ribbon cable is a Crimper IDC, product code GW34. You will need other items to
make a complete cable, which I can't help with as I have never made a full
cable up myself - I got Eyetech to make me one to my spec and later added two
extra internal connectors myself (hence the reason why I had the Maplin product
codes).
