Maplins now only stock 2 types of motherboard - I've been there today to buy
a new motherboard, as my linux machine's motherboard died yesterday :-(
They have a package deal of a ECS K7VZA plus 700MHz Duron plus CPU cooler
for 150 pounds. It needs 100MHz DIMMs though, so I had to buy a 128MB
DIMM too. Not a bad deal if you're in a hurry on a Sunday, but I'm sure
you could get a much better price if you shopped around enough.
Not only does it run linux much better than my old PII 266MHz that died, but
it runs UAE well too :-)
