You're absolutely right, of course. Let's face it though, lots of us have
more than one computer and if you need help on any subject, who are you
going to ask? Your 'friends' of course!
Amiga users are well known for their knowledge and help amongst their own.
If my PC broke down, I'd ask here first because I know I'd get help rather
than derision from someone that thought that an AMD K6-2 450 Mhz wasn't
worth helping with!
'Oh for gawds sake, get a modern Intel Pantyhose IV/7Gig and Windoze 2000
(out of date edition)!'
Problems get solved here! Which proves what? That Amiga users are more
knowledgeable and more tolerant of other platforms than your average MAC,
LINUX or PC user! A lot of this stuff bores me too but I simply don't read
it!
I am, however, never ceased to be amazed that all problems are always
resolved!
Perhaps if we had more stringent subject lines? If you have a PC prob, then
start the thread "PC prob, whatever" that way others can delete without
reading!
Perhaps this list is just suffering from 'Digital Convergence'?
Richy.
