LOL. I've never heard anyone compare it like that before. :) But, both of mine
are dead without hope of repair unless I want to spend out £££ :\

Wonderful bit of kit, the slowest floppy drive in the history of computers. :)
the 1581 (i think) was a lot better, as it was parallel, but used the expansion
bus. :\
