No reason why they shouldn't - The reset problem still happened with one of
my drives on the secondary i/f of a simple buffered IDE splitter, so you
might still have to cut the line if that's the problem. Take care to get the
jumpers right though... Usuallt the HD'll be master and the CD-ROM'll be
slave. Oh, and dunno if this'll work for you, but if you disconnect pin 39
(2nd last) from the CD-ROM drive, it stops the HD light coming on when the
CD-ROM is accessed... Completely OT, but might be interesting...
