Subject: | html checker |
Hello,
Can anyone recommend my a good offline amiga htmlchecker?
Till one i used a program called "htmlchecker" v1.01 from the year '97, so
maybe not completely up-to-date.
Still this program gave me lot's of errors that i had to remove from my
pages :)
There where only two minor problems with this program:
- with a list it doesn't want a endtag for a listitem:
<ul>
<li> one </li>
<li> two </li>
</ul>
will give me errors, and AFAIK this really is the standard??
- secondly it complains about usings tabs in html-files, because some
browser couldn't work with it.... anyone know if they really should be
removed to be correct with the standard?
I know that most html pages are up to the standard, but i want to be quit
"standard".
At last i can say i also used the program "CheckHtml" but this one uses the
sgml-parser and gives such heaps of errors, that is really to much for
me......
So any options for htmlcheckers?
Kind regards
Joris
