There are two PPC kernels for use with AmigaOS. PowerUP is supplied with
the card, WarpOS is from H&P and comes with OS 3.5+.

MorphOS is a PPC OS, running everything on the PPC and emulating the
68040/060 processor.

PowerUP uses the ppc.library, WarpOS uses the powerpc.library. There's
also a version of ppc.library that works with WarpOS, allowing you to
run most PowerUP programs with WarpOS.

Yes you do. WarpOS comes with the OS if you have 3.5 or higher. Or you
could use the AK datatypes with PowerUP.

ppcdiss.library is part of PowerUP and should have been installed at the
same time as ppc.library.

You have both PowerUP and WarpOS libraries installed. It would appear
that something is loading ppc.library in your startup, and then
something else is trying to load powerpc.library. That's when you get
the requester.

You have two options:

1) Remove powerpc.library for now. This will cause any WarpOS programs
to fail to run, but PowerUP software will run as intended.

2) Install the replacement ppc.library from
http://devnull.owl.de/~frank/ppclibemu.lzx
You should then find you're running WarpOS with PowerUP programs
using this library to emulate the PowerUP environment.

As to which is better. Use whatever works for you and ignore the
opinionated hotheads who will shout that one is perfect and the other is
the work of the devil.
