Hello Folks,
Having been tempted into upgrading my digicam to a 3.4 Megapixel jobby
(Canon Powershot G1) after reading the article in AA about the virtues
of the newer cameras, I got around to printing a couple of pix from it
to show to a mate at work, who is a "conventional" photographer.
I used Turboprint 7.16 and an Epson Stylus Photo 750, and the results
were amazing at A4 size on glossy paper. Several of the blokes at work
who saw them use various flavours of PC, and were amazed that my Amiga
could produce such pictures.
The only downside is that the camera is USB, so of course I can't
download directly to my A4000 as yet. Unless Eyetech come up with a CF
card reader for the A4000, of course....
As it is, my PC laptop is the most expensive peripheral I've yet bought for my Amiga ;)
What chance of USB ever coming to "Classic" hardware?
